When someone resigns and time is running out

People move on.
Their knowledge stays.

Someone on your team has resigned and there is no time left for a proper handover? Send a link. The person has a conversation with an AI, one question at a time. The result is a handover handbook for their successor.

$39 per handover · under $15 each at 50 · excl. VAT · no subscription

Jana Becker sits alone at her laptop, finishing her handover conversation.

Four weeks' notice. And a lot of it lives in one head.

  • Accounting

The accountant who is the only one who knows which customers only pay after the second reminder.

  • Sales

The sales rep who has had his most important customers on the phone for ten years.

  • Workshop

The foreman who can hear from the sound when the old milling machine is about to cause trouble.

None of this is in any folder. SkillPass gets it out before the last working day arrives.

Notice period

Example: 4 weeks, November

  • Resignation
  • Conversation with SkillPass
  • Handbook ready
  • Remaining leave
  • Last day
Once remaining leave and day-to-day work are taken out, there is hardly any time left to train a successor. A conversation still fits in.

How it works

One link. One conversation. One handbook.

  1. You

    You send an invitation

Enter name, email and role, then “Send invitation”. There is nothing else to set up.

  2. The person who is leaving

They have a conversation with Juni

Open the link, speak or type. Juni, the AI, asks one question after another and follows up where details are missing. No account, no password, nothing to install.

Listen to how Juni introduces herself and how she follows up when a detail is missing.

    Transcript

Hi, I'm Juni, your conversation partner for your handover.

I'll guide you through your personal offboarding and ask you about your tasks, your routines and the people you work with.

You can interrupt me and ask me questions at any time.

If you need a break, we'll pause and pick up later.

You can talk to me or type, whichever you prefer.

At the end, you review the summary and approve it.

From that, I'll write the handover handbook for your successor.

    Shall we get started?

A short excerpt from the conversationJuni · Jana, Accounting
    1. Juni

Are there customers who need to be handled differently from the rest?

    2. Jana

Yes. Three key accounts only ever pay after the second reminder. Sending them an early reminder does nothing.

    3. Juni

      Which three are they?

    4. Jana

Kessler Bau, Nordlicht Logistik and Hagemann Metall. With Kessler, I call their accounts team before the second reminder. Then the money usually arrives the same week.

    5. Juni

Who do you call at Kessler, and what's the best way to reach them?

    Goes into the handbook

    • Kessler Bau, Nordlicht Logistik, Hagemann Metall: pay only after the 2nd reminder
    • Tip: call Kessler first, then the money usually arrives that week

  3. The person who is leaving

    They review and finish

At the end, they read the summary, correct anything that is wrong and approve it.

  4. You and the successor

    The handbook is ready

You receive the handover handbook as a PDF and pass it on to the person who comes next.

A handbook your successor opens on day one.

Not a conversation transcript, but an organized document: tasks, processes, contacts, everyday tricks and what is currently open.

What it is not

Not a system that runs alongside.

The first question is often: how do you set it up, and does it watch how someone works? No to both. SkillPass is a conversation, once, shortly before the farewell.

No software you have to roll out.
You send a link. That is all.
No program that reads along in the background.
It sees no emails, files or screens. Only what is said in the conversation.
No wiki that someone has to maintain.
At the end there is a finished PDF. Nothing needs to be maintained.
No project that takes months.
Made for the last few weeks, when things have to move fast.

Pricing

You pay per handover.

No subscription, no base fee. If you buy several handovers at once, each one gets cheaper: from $39 down to $14.98 each.

Frequently asked questions

Answered briefly.

All questions →
Do I need to install anything?

No. Neither you nor the person who is leaving. Everything runs in the browser. Your employee needs no account and no password, just the link from the email.

How long does the conversation take?

Usually 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the role. The conversation can be paused and continued later.

What does it cost?

$39 for one handover, excl. VAT. With several handovers, the price per handover drops, down to $14.98 at 50 handovers. There is no subscription and no base fee.

Does SkillPass run in the background?

No. There is only the conversation. SkillPass has no access to emails, files or screens and does not watch anyone at work.

What happens to the data?

Your content is stored encrypted and is not used for AI training, and you can delete it at any time. Handbook PDFs are stored in the EU.

How many days are left?

The earlier the conversation takes place, the more stays in the company.
